Part 04
A free record for one cutting block
One block, read once, sent to a work address, before you register a book of blocks.
Who it is for
Before registering a book of blocks, a free record for one cutting block is the way to see what the record says about a single block of your own, drawn or uploaded, before any account is opened.
Where it is
The same page that offers a free record for one tree-crop plot carries a checkbox, this is a harvest block for wood. Choosing it tags the upload as a cutting block or forest management unit instead of a plot, and the record that comes back is the harvest block reading described in Reading the block record rather than the tree-crop finding.
What arrives
Draw the block's outline or upload it, give the harvest window and your work address, and the record is read and sent as a PDF, with a link to it that stays live. The limit on free records per work address is shared with the tree-crop plot page: both draw on the same count.
